The i-Ambassador Scheme: A Fun-filled Filipino Evening

A group of passionate i-Ambassadors from the Philippines embarked on a mission to showcase their unparalleled hospitality, fascinating culture, and exceptional culinary prowess through an enchanting Filipino Cultural Night.

Held at the i-LOUNGE, this thrilling gathering was joined by both local and non-local students. The enchanting Filipino music and traditional costumes immediately transported participants into the heart of the Philippines' rich heritage and captivating culture.

But the excitement didn't stop there. Our dedicated i-Ambassadors prepared an enticing array of traditional Filipino dishes for everyone to enjoy. From the internationally renowned chicken adobo to the beloved street food favorite bananacue, and from the delightful mango graham to the satisfying pancit canton, participants embarked on a culinary journey that was both culturally enlightening and sensational.

As the night unfolded, the atmosphere was filled with contagious laughter and infectious joy. Charles Henry Tan, an i-Ambassador and one of the organizers of the Filipino Cultural Night, was thrilled to share his own culture and cuisine with fellow students. He expressed, "Being able to share the Filipino's heartwarming culture and food is a moment to cherish! We put a lot of effort into making the event feel like home to us and a true experience for others. And seeing the i-LOUNGE crowded with people who are passionate to learn more about the Philippines encourages me to share more about my own country."

Witnessing the blossom of cross-cultural appreciation and friendships brought us immense joy. We look forward to more exciting activities brought to us by Filipino students as well as students from all around the world!
