Sport Facilities
CUHK provides a variety of sports facilities, including sports fields, gymnasia, outdoor 50-metre swimming pool, tennis courts and squash courts. The Water Sports Centre is located on the Tolo Harbour shoreline. It is open for students, staff and alumni to canoeing, wind-surfing and sailing. You may book the Facilities managed by the Physical Education Unit by logging in to the Online Facilities Booking System for PEU Venue. Swimming Pool
The University Swimming Pool is managed by the Administration and Amenities Section of the Office of Student Affairs. The Pool mainly serves teaching and training purposes and is also open for leisure use for staff, alumni and other specified groups of users.
Fees and Opening Hours
The University Swimming Pool will be reopened at 3:00pm on 8 May 2023 (Monday). The opening hours will be as follows:

Weekly opening hours:
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
1st Session: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
2nd Session: 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Every Friday:
1st Session: CLOSED for weekly cleaning
2nd Session: 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Every Saturday:
1st Session: CLOSED for the University water polo team practice
2nd Session: 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Every Sunday: CLOSED
Issuance and renewal of swimming cards will commence from 8 May 2022 (Monday) at the counter of Administration and Amenities Section, Office of Student Affairs (1/F, Benjamin Franklin Centre). Starting from 2022, resident smartcard holders could present the resident card instead of the admission card (for family members of staff) to enter the swimming pool with the fee applied.
