In relationships, we learn how to draw closer and how to step back, how to give, and how to make space for ourselves. Love, interpersonal relationships, gender, loss, and recovery may seem abstract, yet are deeply real experiences. From 16 to 30 March 2026, the Wellness and Counselling Centre of the Office of Student Affairs organised Rela.Versity, a two week journey where, through a series of activities, students were gently guided to reflect, to feel, and to step into the key life themes.
Six themed workshops were conducted, including:
Love & Relationships “Red Flag” Zone
Students were invited to pause and examine subtle warning signs in relationships. Through interactive games and creative activities, they learned to recognise red flags, rethink boundaries and needs, and build healthy interpersonal relationships.
Love is a Cruel – Your Two-Way Choice
When “either–or” reflected real‑life dilemmas, students were encouraged to consider how to make choices between love and self while staying true to their inner values. Answers differed, but self honesty was a vital first step.
Timeless Florals – Nurturing Emotions Through Art
Designed for non local students, this workshop offered a gentle space for safe emotional expression through floral art, helping participants name their emotions and find an outlet.
Loving at ease: Nourishing your love through fandom
Inspired by bell hooks’ All About Love, this workshop brought together different fandom identities to reflect on attachment and boundaries, encouraging love to become a source of self nourishment rather than emotional consumption.
Human Library of Gendered Voices Workshop
This workshop provided a platform for diverse gender experiences and emotional journeys to be heard and acknowledged, fostering greater understanding of emotional and relational diversity.
The Scenery of Love – The Seasons Have Taken a New Form
Loss is not merely an ending, but it needs to be held and worked through. By reflecting on their heartbreaks and discussing emotional recovery, students came to understand that healing is about moving forward while carrying lived experience, rather than forgetting.
Caritas Relationship University Roadshow
From 24 to 26 March, the “Caritas Relationship University Roadshow” was held, featuring interactive booths such as quick psychological tests, a screening room, and street-style polling stations. With facilitators’ guidance, it served as a reminder to students that relationships are, in fact, present in every everyday choice we make.
instax SELF:ME x Serrini: “Shine Like a Star, Just as You Are” Sharing Session
The sharing by Serrini brought the journey to a gentle close. In an era shaped by filters and expectations, authenticity is a resilient and steady strength. Beauty no longer needs comparison. We are all empowered to express our true selves with confidence.
“Rela.Versity” has come to a successful conclusion. More than the completion of a series of activities, it represents a shared memory of self‑awareness and relational learning. May this spirit of “connection and compassion” continue to flow through the campus, accompanying students in their growth, and reminding us all that before loving others, we must first learn to build a healthy relationship with ourselves.
