Untitled Coffee, the latest winning team of CUHK Student-run Coffee Shop Startup (CU-SuCCeSS), officially began its soft launch on 24 August 2026. Over the past two months, the team has worked tirelessly to prepare for the opening and give Fulton Centre LG05 a fresh new look.
Over the summer, the team worked closely with the Office of Student Affairs and the Estate Management Office to develop a plan that was both practical and aesthetically considered. They took the lead in the design process and furniture selection, while carefully refining every detail to enhance the overall café experience.
During this period, the team was present at the café almost every day. They were either meeting to review and work on the renovation matters, or testing and refining their products. The team shared that the preparation process was challenging. They encountered a few unexpected technical issues. As a result, the opening was delayed by a week. They utilised the additional time to further refine their operational arrangements. The team made the most of their time and believed that there was always room for improvement and that every attempt could be made better.

They also highlighted the experience of painting the café’s walls themselves. Through this hands-on effort, they hoped to encourage one another, and regard the experience as an important milestone in Untitled Coffee’s development.
