International House, affectionately known as I-House, is a vibrant hub of cultural diversity. Home to a dynamic mix of local, non-local, and exchange undergraduate students, I-House is much more than a place to live. It serves as a thriving platform for cultural exchange, cross-cultural friendship, and community building. This year, I-House proudly welcomes the addition of Block 6, increasing its total capacity to approximately 900 bed spaces.
Conveniently located opposite Wu Yee Sun College, the new I-House 6 has been freshly refurbished from the former staff residence, University Residence No. 3. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Central Campus, it offers the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquillity, providing students with a comfortable and peaceful living environment. With a range of accommodation options, including Single, Double, and Quadruple Rooms, I-House 6 caters to different lifestyles, preferences, and living arrangements.
I-House 6 is well equipped with essential facilities to support daily living. Residents can enjoy access to shared pantries, a piano room, a fitness room, and laundry facilities, creating a convenient and self-contained residential experience. In addition, a variety of on-campus dining outlets at Wu Yee Sun College, Lee Woo Sing College, Shaw College and Lee Shau Kee Building are all within walking distance.
Beyond comfortable accommodation, I-House 6 offers students the opportunity to become part of the vibrant and diverse International House community. Living alongside peers from around the world, residents can experience a truly multicultural environment that fosters meaningful connections and lifelong friendships. Residents can also participate in a wide range of cultural, social, and educational activities organized by the International Cultural Ambassadors (ICAs), providing valuable opportunities to engage with fellow students, celebrate different cultures, and build a strong sense of belonging within the I-House community.
All rooms and communal facilities in I-House 6 have undergone comprehensive formaldehyde removal treatment by a professional indoor air quality company and have obtained Indoor Air Quality Certification, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for students.
