Appreciating Student Leaders for Student-led Orientation Activities 2025

As the new academic year unfolds, the contributions of our student leaders during the orientation activities deserve special recognition. The CUHK Orientation Leaders Unite: Appreciation Happy Hour aims to honor these dedicated individuals who have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for newcomers.

In addition to this celebration, we are also excited to introduce the e-Certificate System for Student Leaders of Student-led Orientation Activities 2025, a new platform that simplifies the application process for e-certifications. This initiative not only streamlines administrative tasks but also highlights the significant role our student leaders play in enhancing the campus experience. Join us in celebrating their efforts and exploring these exciting advancements at CUHK!

Miss Chloe Ngo, Big Group leader of Lee Woo Sing College O’camp remarked that ‘We did experience some ‘language barriers.’ As a leader, I felt this deeply. However, from my perspective, what I saw wasn’t a problem. I saw my team members, who maybe felt shy at first, slowly start to open up.’

I encourage you to reflect on these experiences, as they will serve you well in future endeavors. The skills you’ve developed, especially communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and empathy, are invaluable assets that will benefit you throughout your academic and future career journeys.’
